Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Land Grab

“The Biden administration continues to attack our Wyoming way of life. The latest hit job from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) aims to take control of 1.8 million acres of land in Wyoming. This blatant land grab completely dismisses practical solutions proposed by local land managers, local agencies and the people who live and work on this land,” said Senator Barrasso.

In October 2023, a state legislative committee passed a draft bill that would dedicate $50 million to helping Wyoming fight the RMP in a Federal Court.

My Solution: Return these Federal Lands under State control and let the people of Wyoming decide what is best for these lands. Taking Federal Lands back does not mean that they would ever be for sale. We now have a heritage in Wyoming of public lands. We would pass legislation in the state that would secure these as public lands and resources forever. Furthermore, there is no need for the state to spend $50 million dollars to fight this. Three words to the Federal Government, "Not your Jurisdiction!". Let Wyoming govern its own lands and resources.

Sale of state land in Teton National park

Wyoming state officials voted Thursday to table a disputed proposal that would have auctioned off state-owned public trust land within Grand Teton National Park.

The State Board of Land Commissioners unanimously agreed to hold additional public discussions and revisit the proposal, which focuses on a 640-acre plot called the Kelly Parcel in fall 2024.

My Solution: Amend the Wyoming Constitution that these lands are not for sale, but forever will be for the people of Wyoming.

Energy

Statement: Energy drives a nation. If you have clean, abundant and affordable. energy; you have a GREAT economy!

In Wyoming, we have vast resources of oil, gas, coal, uranium, wind and solar.

Wyoming produces almost 12 times more energy than it consumes, and it is the second-biggest net energy supplier among the states, after Texas.
Ref. US Energy Information Administration

RESPONSIBLE development of our energy resources needs to be a top priority!

My Plan: Establish Energy Task Force that considers our quality of life, including our wildlife and clean skies, in further development of these resources. A large footprint destroys habitat, impedes wildlife and bird migrations. I currently work in the natural gas industry and the truth is that it has a very small footprint once drilling is completed. Drill baby, drill! Mine baby, mine! But do it with best practices and technology available. Reclamation is a must!

We, the People of Wyoming, need to be able to determine our own destiny and not those in Washington D.C., or any other state. By reclaiming our states resources, we will keep any royalties or taxes generated in the State of Wyoming. No more redistribution of wealth from Wyoming by the Federal Government in supporting other states that have made unwise decisions.

EDUCATION

Statement: "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be."
-Thomas Jefferson

Stategy: Require Civic Education to be taught in all public schools. Emphasis to be placed on our nation's Founders, their true intent, and the US Constitution. The US Department of Education has no business interferring with a State's right to educate. We will develop our own standards and curriculum, which will include Vocational training.
